I'm a qualified teacher (QTS) who has been tutoring maths, on and off, since 2004. I taught in schools between 2006 and 2013, then spent several years building education and technology businesses. From September 2026 I'm returning to private tuition, taking on a small number of KS2, KS3 and GCSE pupils across South Norfolk and online.

Key Stage 2 · Years 5–6
Times tables, fractions, arithmetic and problem-solving, working toward SATs.
Key Stage 3 · Years 7–9
Covering the Key Stage 3 curriculum and building on gaps from primary school ahead of GCSE options.
GCSE · Years 10–11
Foundation and Higher tier, tailored to your child's exam board (AQA, Edexcel or OCR) and current topics, with practice papers.
Pricing
Sessions are usually one hour, weekly, though this is flexible around exam dates and school holidays.

Background
I began tutoring in 2004 alongside my studies, and taught maths, economics and business studies in schools from 2006 to 2013. Since then I've spent time founding an education technology company and, more recently, working as COO of a sports technology business. From September 2026 I'm returning to private tuition on a part-time basis, working with a small number of KS2, KS3 and GCSE maths pupils across South Norfolk and online.

Do you teach to a specific exam board?
Yes — GCSE tuition is tailored to your child's exam board and current topics. Just let me know whether they're studying AQA, Edexcel or OCR, and which tier.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. Most families settle into a regular weekly slot, but one-off sessions and short exam-focused blocks are both available.
How do online sessions work?
Sessions run over video call with a shared online whiteboard, so it feels close to sitting side-by-side with an exercise book.
What do you need from us to get started?
Just an idea of your child's current school, year group, set/tier if known, and anything specific they're finding difficult.
